Jose Roberto has played an integral part in developing and implementing new business configurations, launching new products and managing a growth agenda for FMCG (consumer products) companies as well as for commodity companies.
His career has spanned more than 20 years with global powerhouses such as Cadbury Schweppes, Coca Cola and Cargill, where he was heavily involved in operations, incorporating finance in all cross-functional teams and in the strategic analysis (bottom line oriented).
Most recently and prior to joining Oxford Group, Jose Roberto occupied senior management positions within Brazilian companies in the consumer products sector (beverage and food) and in the agribusiness (commodity type) companies At that time, he coordinated many commercial relationships and initial contacts to attract new customers to the business.
Jose Roberto graduated from Faculdade de Ciencias Contabeis Paulo Eiro in São Paulo (Brazil). In addition, he has completed various short courses, such as finance at the University of Minnesota, Value Creation Strategies by Marakon, ABC – Activity Based Costing from Delloite and many others.
Jose Roberto is fluent in Portuguese, English and conversational in Spanish, and is knowledgeable of the cultural aspects of North America and Latin America environments and their relevance to business.
