The US government has been talking about changing the requirements for the EB-5 program for many years. There have been many false alarms in the past where it seemed that changes in the value of the investment would be promulgated.

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has approved a final change of rules for the EB-5 program.
The most significant change is that the investment amount will be increased from $ 500,000 to $ 1,350 million.
The big question mark is when the changes will be promulgated.
It is possible that the USCIS will publish the final rule change in the Federal Register next week, with a 30 to 60 day promulgation date.
There is hope, however, that the validity will be given until September 30, when Congress will decide on the continuity of the program.
